Welcome to the Summer Learning Journey programme. My name is Ellee and I will be blogging with you this summer. You've made a great start to your blogging, well done!
These are great facts from the story Millah. I was also surprised that Maui was much braver than his brothers.
That's really exciting that you also learnt some new Maori from the story! I think it is really cool that the fish Maui pulled up looks like a stingray and so does the North Island! ...I also didn't know that the South Island was Maui's boat.
I am glad that you have also heard another Maui story, which one is your favourite?
This is a great start to your blogging Millah, keep up the good work! Ellee :)
I love your presentation for your first activity! You have done a great job. There are lots of myths and legends about Maui. We have lots in Nga Manawa that you could read. You have found four very good facts to share on your post. I like that you have shared four when you only had to share three. Well done! Keep up the good work and I look forward to reading your posts over the summer! Make sure that your Mum comments on them too!! Not long til Santa comes now!!
I am super impressed with how enthusiastic you are to start your Summer Learning Journey. You are so keen to get started and stay so focused. I also LOVE how you are putting lots of effort into how you are presenting your activities. You are enjoying lots of new things on the Chromebook. You are now confidently and independently publising Google Drawings onto your blog. Maui sounds a lot like you, adventurous, brave and always wanting to be better than your siblings!!!! Love you, Mum :)
