You're absolutely right, Waitara and Ruamahanga River are unfortunately on the list of polluted rivers in New Zealand. It's very unfortunate that a country as beautiful as ours also has its disturbing secrets. We must continue to take action and protect our lakes, the rivers, and our environment and there are many ways we can all help our country and the planet.
I love that you have set out your work in boxes next to each other for a comparative effect. All your information is presented very clearly and it's easy to follow. I love that you have even taken the time to research and include the sorts of things that are polluting the rivers, awesome work Millah! I can't believe that 37 million litres of sewerage and waste goes into the Waitara river, that's shocking!
Could you please tell me whether or not anything has been done to help clean these rivers up, and if so, what are they? I look forward to hearing more information from you! :)
