This is a great review of this myth and legend. You have retold this story really well. Have you read it before? This is one that I listen to quite often as the teachers like this myth and it is really well read at Grey Main School. There are so many really neat myths and legends out there. Myths and Legends is one of the topics that always comes up in the Kids Lit Competition. As a year 6 this year it would be great if you would try out for the teams. You are a really good reader and Mrs Sullivan and myself would love to have you trial for the teams. It is so much fun to be a part of. You need to have a wide knowledge base of books that you have read and a good memory!!
Thanks for you positive comment! I haven't read that myth but when I heard it, it sounded like something that I would like to be. I would differently like try out for a Kids Lit team this year. Reagan was in it last year and she really really liked it. She was even telling me that I should try out this year. I can't wait to come back to school and try out for a team!
