SLJ - Week 4 - Day 4 - Activity 2

  1. Hi Millah

Great work interviewing Mum and getting all of these answers from her. She has got some good points about the plastic bags. I find that I am the same with forgetting to take them into the supermarket with me. Although I am good at putting them into the boot of my car so that I only have to go back out to the carpark to get them.
We use them also as our liner for our bin, and my supply is really low. So I to will have to buy something now to put in there for the rubbish. I haven't looked yet to see how expensive they will be.
I am sure a lot of people will be in the same situation. They were so handy for putting things in to carry also.
What we need is someone to invent a use for them when they are put into the recycling. And to educate people to not throw them away where they can do all the damage to the environment.
Maybe that could be a job for you? Become an inventor and save the world of plastic bags!

    Goo job Millah

    Until next time

    Allie :)

Thanks for another kind and positive comment.
It's a real pain that they don't give us any more plastic bags. Now days if you want to carry your lunch in you will have to use a big PLASTIC bag. But as they say it does kill animals and that is sad to hear. It would be a cool job to invent things that we can make things out of plastic bags. I remember older kids making dresses out of plastic bags for the Wearable Art show at school. I could make them too!

WOW! This is an amazing blog post. I like how you have chosen to use circles out of any other shape. I also like how you have added X's for something wrong or sad and ticks for something good it's a great idea.

Maybe next time you could add a picture of a supermarket that has banned plastic bags and a supermarket that still has plastic bags. This reminds me to remember our reusable bags when we go to the supermarket.

What was your favourite part about this activity?
How long did it take you to complete this activity?

Keep up the great work Millah!
